Someome has to make the calls. A good leader has to make tough, informed decisions. Recognize his soldiers' speacle strengths and use them accordingly. Fight to win, with the knowledge than he may die trying. But most important, a leader won't ask anyone to do anything he wouldn't do himself.
Life is like trying to swim on a stormy day. Most of the time you just fight the waves and try to breath, but the brief moments where things calm down you look at the sky and see the beautiful rays of sunlight escaping the clouds. And that is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen. And it just makes you think "One more time. One more fight". Because this is worth it.
