Ansichtssache, finde ich. Heutzutage ists vermutlich eher so - zumindest in den Kreisen, in denen ich verkehre - dass man dutzende aufrichtige (also auch im richtigen Ton vorgetragene) Tadel ganz gut etablieren kann. Aber bei einem Kompliment - seis nun ernst oder verlogen - tut man sich schwer und vermutet gleich sonstwelche Hintergedanken ;-P
Ich vertrete ja die Meinung, dass man mit Lügen mehr kaputtmacht, als man damit vermeintlich Gutes tut.
Den Spruch an sich finde ich aber nicht sehr wahr. Ich könnte mit einem echten Tadel (bzw. einer echten Kritik) mehr anfangen als mit lauter Komplimenten.
Ich weiß nicht, wer deine Geschichten so Probe liest, aber ich schick sie immer meinen Freunden und ich hab halt die, die immer nur kommen mit "Suuuperhammageil!", "Will mehr!", "Genialst!". Es ist natürlich toll, dass es ihnen gefällt (ich geh einfach mal davon aus, dass es nicht gelogen war^^), aber das hilft mir herzlich wenig.
Wenn jetzt aber einer kommt "Ich fand auf Seite 7 die Szene, in der du dieses und jenes beschreibst, mies, weil das und das" bringt mir das einiges.
Ich würde den aufrichtigen Tadel den Komplimenten, ob wahr oder gelogen, jederzeit vorziehen,
Ach ja ... ich hab meine Leute so weit dazu bekommen, dass sie recht ... kritisch mit meinen Werken sind ;-P Ich kenns auch nicht anders. Ich bin aufgewachsen mit dem Spruch "Nicht getadelt is genug gelobt"

I am not a religious man. I have not attended a service for many years. But I do believe in God. My own practice of religion, you could say, it a nonpractice. I personally feel that it's just as worthy on a weekend to rake the lawns of an elderly neighbor or to climb a mountain and marvel at the beauty of this land we live in as it is to sing hosannas or go to Mass. In other words, I think every many finds his own church - and not all of them have four walls.
Religion was supposed to be a blanket drawn up to your chin to keep you warm, a promise that when it came to the end, you wouldn't die alone - but it could just as easily leave you shivering out in the cold, if WHAT you believed became more important than the fact THAT you believed.
