Je bewusster wir uns unserer Fähigkeiten, Talente und Ressourcen sind, je mehr wir wissen, was uns im Leben Halt und Sinn gibt, umso öfter können wir darauf zurückgreifen.
Verändern wir unsere Haltung und sehen eine Krankheit als ein Teil von uns an, können wir aufhören zu kämpfen. Eine Krankheit kann ein Teil von einem ansonsten gesunden Menschen sein. Sie ist nur ein Teil dieses Menschen, nicht der Mensch selbst.
Letztendlich geht es auch beim Verzeihen um eine Form des Loslassens. Weg von dem, was uns ein anderer angetan hat, hin zu dem was uns im Leben wichtig ist, von der Fremdbestimmung zur Selbstbestimmung.
