Also. Es geht darum, dass die Todesbotin mit einer Frau redet, die ihre Tochter an den Tod verloren hat. Sie selbst ist darüber so betrübt, dass sie glücklich darüber war, dass auch sie, also die Mutter, sterben sollte. Das Zitat stammt von der Todesbotin selbst. Mit "sie" meint sie die Tochter der Frau. Und der letzte Teil ist eine Ermahnung an die Frau, ihr eigenes Leben nicht wegzuwerfen.
So, ich fürchte, dieser Erklärungsversuch war nur halb so klar, wie er hätte sein können *verlegengrins*
